Below are the 8 most common questions customers ask about our DTF printing services, DTF gang sheets, and ordering process. These answers are written to be clear, detailed, and transparent.

1. What is DTF printing?

DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing is a process where your artwork is printed onto a special film, coated with adhesive powder, cured, and then heat-pressed onto garments. It produces vibrant colors, strong white ink, fine detail, and excellent durability across many fabric types.

DTF works on cotton, polyester, blends, and performance fabrics, making it one of the most versatile apparel printing methods available.

2. What are DTF gang sheets?

DTF gang sheets allow multiple designs to be printed on one large sheet of film. This is ideal for brands, print shops, and resellers because it:

  • Reduces cost per print

  • Allows multiple logos or sizes in one order

  • Maximizes material usage

Gang sheets are delivered ready to press and cut as needed.

3. What file formats do you accept?

We accept high-resolution artwork in the following formats:

  • PNG (preferred, transparent background)

  • PDF

  • AI

  • PSD

For best results, files should be 300 DPI, sized to final print dimensions, and free of unwanted backgrounds. Low-quality or web-sized images may affect print results.

4. What fabrics can DTF transfers be applied to?

Our DTF transfers work on:

  • 100% cotton

  • Polyester

  • Cotton/poly blends

  • Performance and athletic fabrics

DTF is especially effective for garments where other methods may struggle, providing flexibility and long-lasting results when pressed correctly.

5. How durable are your DTF transfers?

When applied following proper heat press instructions, our DTF transfers offer:

  • Strong adhesion

  • Stretch without cracking

  • Excellent wash durability

We recommend washing garments inside out, in cold water, and tumble drying on low heat to maximize lifespan.

6. What is your turnaround time?

Standard production is handled during Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (Eastern Time).
Turnaround time depends on order size and current workload.

For urgent needs, we offer rush production for a $50 rush fee, subject to availability and approval before processing.

7. Do you offer bulk or wholesale DTF pricing?

Yes. We support small runs through bulk and wholesale orders for apparel brands, decorators, and resellers. Gang sheets are especially cost-effective for bulk production.

If you need ongoing volume pricing, contact us directly to discuss your project needs.

8. Do you check artwork before printing?

Yes. We perform a basic file review to ensure printability. However:

  • We do not redesign or correct artwork unless arranged separately

  • Customers are responsible for spelling, sizing, and layout accuracy

Submitting print-ready files helps avoid delays and ensures the best final results.
