File Preparation & Artwork Guidelines

Proper file setup is essential for achieving clean detail, accurate color, and high-quality DTF prints. Following these guidelines helps prevent delays, reprints, and unexpected results.

Accepted File Formats

We accept the following professional file types:

  • PNG (preferred) – transparent background

  • PDF

  • AI (Adobe Illustrator)

  • PSD (Adobe Photoshop)

Best practice: PNG files with transparent backgrounds provide the most consistent results.

Resolution & Sizing Requirements

  • 300 DPI at final print size

  • Artwork must be sized exactly as you want it printed

  • Do not rely on us to resize unless previously approved

Low-resolution or web-sized images may appear blurry or pixelated when printed.

Backgrounds & Transparency

  • Remove all unwanted backgrounds

  • Do not include white or colored background boxes unless they are part of the design

  • Transparency should be clean with no halos or artifacts

Color Guidelines

  • Submit artwork in RGB color mode

  • Avoid extremely neon or fluorescent colors, as printed output may vary

  • Solid colors and clean gradients produce the best results

Minor color variation can occur due to fabric color, heat press settings, and material type.

Text & Fine Details

  • Convert text to outlines or rasterize fonts

  • Avoid extremely thin lines or small text under 1 pt stroke

  • Ensure all spelling and placement are final before submission

We are not responsible for spelling or layout errors in customer-supplied files.

Gang Sheet Setup (If Applicable)

  • Leave adequate spacing between designs for cutting

  • Do not overlap artwork

  • Keep all designs within the ordered sheet size

  • Multiple designs and sizes are allowed on one gang sheet

File Review & Responsibility

We perform a basic printability check to ensure files can be produced. However:

  • We do not redesign, recolor, or correct files unless arranged separately

  • Customers are fully responsible for final artwork accuracy

Submitting print-ready files ensures the fastest turnaround and best print quality.
